It’s unfortunate what smartphones can do to us. My sister has an unhealthy
obsession with posting everything she does on Snapchat.

To think about it, before smartphones people hide behing newspapers. Is it
addictive to fetch a paper first thing in the morning, hide behind it from
your family.its nothing new, its just a new way to do it.

You’re spot on there dude, It is an great way to identify and avoid these
morons. On the other hand I do enjoy a good laugh at their expense. Liked
and shared. What ever happened to the limited ’15 minute of fame’?

Whenever I’m going to the gym, I leave my smartphone at home, since I won’t
be needing it anyway and it also prevents losing it if someone breaks into

Well done LACK78, I really appreciate your work. Very thoughtful and not
full of consumerist hype. Keep it up, I appreciate your honesty.

1. Yes, I feel naked without my phone. It’s a part of me.
2. No. In fact, I often put it in do-not-disturb mode when it starts
buzzing too much.
3. No. The phone is great when I’m bored or on watch for important emails,
but it doesn’t distract me.
4. No, although I use it to read news in the morning and that can waste 20
minutes. It helps me wake up.
5. Yes, but I’ve been doing that long before smartphones existed. I take
pics, but I never video anything that I can find on YouTube.
